GÉMOQ stands for Groupe d’étude en médecine obstétricale du Québec and regroups any health professional with a special interest in medical problems in pregnancy. Obstetric Medicine focuses on the optimal care of pregnant woman with medical problems that precede or develop during pregnancy.
Since March 2010, we aim to share expertise in Obstetric Medicine with our members in a variety of ways. GÉMOQ organizes an annual conference and participates in the development of workshops and conferences at the regional and national level. The web site provides a variety of references including Journal Club summaries, access to a registry of rare medical conditions in pregnancy, protocols, and clinical guidelines.
